There are many different procedures and treatments on the market that claim to provide anti-aging results. However, not every person has the time to test them all. If you have wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, sagging skin, and other skin problems caused by aging, the Infini radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment may be the solution you need. The Infini treatment is designed to treat a variety of skin problems and is proven to have amazing results. Knowing whether you are a good candidate or not may be the only thing in your way of having the procedure done yourself. What exactly does the treatment do? Are you a good candidate? Here’s what you need to know to make the right decision.

What Is Infini RF Microneedling?

The Infini RF microneedling procedure is used as an effective treatment against signs of aging. Using a device with 49 almost microscopic needles, RF energy is distributed into the skin tissue (dermis) to boost volume and youthfulness. It also encourages the growth of collagen and elastin, which help the skin bounce-back quickly for a vitalized look. The Infini RF treatment was developed to target the underlying layers of the skin at the right temperature to encourage the wound-healing response. By using thermal energy penetrated directly to the dermis, the surface of the skin is unharmed while the energy works to encourage repair and restoration of the skin cells underneath.

What Skin Conditions Can be Treated by Infini RF Microneedling?

  • Reduce facial lines and wrinkles
  • Improve skin texture and smoothness
  • Eliminate acne scars and active acne
  • Reduce skin laxity/sagging skin
  • Skin rejuvenation
  • Reduce stretch marks and trauma scars

Am I A Good Candidate for Infini RF Microneedling?

If you struggle with any of the conditions above and want a minimally invasive procedure to treat the signs of aging, Infini RF is the solution for you. If you can handle mild discomfort and be patient for the results to appear, you would be a good candidate for the procedure. There are very few circumstances in which the treatment is not recommended. Infini RF is not for people who have pacemakers, metal in their face, or severely sun damaged skin. People with sun damage will notice less of a response to the treatment than those with healthy skin. If you are on blood thinners, the treatment will be riskier as you may notice bruising at the injection sites after the treatment.

FAQ about the Infini RF Treatment

Is Infini safe for all skin types?

This skin rejuvenation treatment is safe on all skin types because the needles are insulated. This protective element allows the heat to skip the surface skin (epidermis) where the pigment cells are and treat the lower layers (dermis) for effective results.

What makes Infini different than other RF devices?

Thanks to developments in technology and a greater understanding of the skin, the Infini RF treatment provides amazing benefits that older RF devices do not. For example, the epidermis is not at risk of being exposed to too much heat, subdermal fat is not at risk, the heating is fractional to increase safety, and the heat temperature and depth can be adjusted.

How many passes are performed on each area?

Each area to be treated requires at least three depths and two or three passes per area. Some areas may need to be treated at four or five depths.

How painful is the treatment?

The Infini treatment requires a topical anesthetic placed on the skin, one hour before the procedure. This may be enough for areas like the face and neck, but the lips and forehead may need extra anesthesia for comfort. Most patients say the pain level is about a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1-10.

Does Infini have any side effects?

The side effects associated with the Infini treatment are mild, making it a treatment with minimal downtime. If you have very vascular skin, you may notice pinpoint bleeding and a slight chance of bruising.

What is the cost of an Infini microneedling treatment?

The cost of the treatment ranges from $700 to $1,000 per treatment, which is still less expensive than other, more invasive, treatments of its kind.

What is the downtime of the Infini treatment?

Downtime with the Infini treatment is very low. This is because the skin is treated in a very precise way to prevent damage to the upper layer. The microneedles used in this treatment are made of gold-coated surgical-grade stainless steel. They are insulated to make sure only the tip of the needles distributes heat to the treated area. This process prevents the skin from appearing inflamed and swollen after each session. The recovery process of the treatment takes up to 4 days; however, the initial redness of the treatment subsides after the first few hours.

Can Infini achieve skin tightness that my face lift couldn’t?

It’s very likely that the Infini RF procedure can provide you with the skin lifting/tightness you are looking for. The treatment is designed to help people with loose skin, fine lines, rough texture, smoker’s lines, crow’s feet, neck sagging, general scars, acne scars, poor skin tone, and stretch marks. If you’re looking for a non-invasive treatment that encourages your skin to produce what it needs to look youthful and vibrant, this is the treatment for you.
